Hunter Biden – assuming he shows up this time- will testify before congress today.
It’s about time. Long past time.
But how are our wonderful, “neutral” media covering this event?
Here’s a taste for you, as excerpted from Makini Brice’s article for Reuters:
U.S. President Joe Biden‘s son Hunter Biden on Wednesday will testify behind closed doors at the impeachment inquiry into his father, which House Republicans are pushing ahead with even after the person who provided accusations at the heart of their case was charged with lying to the FBI.
House of Representatives Republicans for months had sought the younger Biden’s testimony, requests that he first rebuffed and then belittled by making surprise public appearances at the Capitol.
Investigators are expected to ask Hunter Biden, 54, about his business activities, including his role with Chinese firm CEFC and on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
House Republicans have been probing the Biden family’s business dealings and have cited claims the former FBI informant made that he has now been charged with lying about, with prosecutors warning that he had contact with Russian intelligence agencies.
House Republicans allege that Biden, a Democrat, and his family improperly profited from policy decisions Biden participated in as vice president during President Barack Obama’s administration in 2009-17. So far they have not presented evidence to back up these claims.
Fascinating.
To read this, you would think that the only reason hunter biden is being investigated is the testimony of an accused liar who is part of the “Trump Russian collusion” story. And they don’t have any other evidence.
The checks for hundreds of thousands of dollars? The two dozen or so “shell companies” whose only purpose seems to have been laundering money? The incriminating testimony of the two FBI agents? The incriminating testimony of hunter biden BFF (until he decided to come forward) Tony Bobulinski? The provable lies Biden told about never discussing hunter biden’s business or meeting with his business associates? Irrelevant ‘n’ immaterial.
Oh yeah, and don’t forget that (noted further on in the story) Trump was impeached twice while President. Yeah, that’s relevant. That has something to do with the accusations against Biden. So why pay any attention to this at all.
