The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) – those wonderful folks who run the schools where Gazan children are taught to hate Jews and that they will receive eternal bliss if they die killing Jews – says it did not know that hamas had built tunnels under their headquarters.
Yep, that’s credible all right – if you happen to be a brainless moron.

We’ve known that Hamas operates in hospitals and schools in Gaza, despite their heated denials. We’ve also known about the extensive terror tunnel network under the Strip, where they store weapons, hide hostages, and plan attacks.
But a new find by the Israel Defense Forces is even more troubling – Hamas has been operating a sophisticated data center directly beneath the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), complete with an electrical room, industrial battery power banks, and living quarters for Hamas terrorists overseeing the computer operations.
While pro-Hamas protests continue to rage around the world, the governmental entity/terror group continues to prove that they will observe no norms nor show any human decency as they campaign against the destruction of Israel.
Meanwhile, the discovery further points to the rot in the UNRWA and shows us that the U.S. should have nothing to do with the organization.
But…but…how was the UNRWA to know?

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini on Saturday night responded to the revelation of the terror tunnels under UNRWA’s main headquarters in Gaza.
In a series of bullet points posted on X, formerly Twitter, Lazzarini claimed, “UNRWA did not know what is under its headquarters in Gaza.”
“UNRWA is made aware of reports through the media regarding a tunnel under the UNRWA Headquarters in Gaza.
“UNRWA staff left its headquarters in Gaza City on 12 October following the Israeli evacuation orders and as bombardment intensified in the area. We have not used that compound since we left it nor are we aware of any activity that may have taken place there.
“We understand, through media reporting, that the Israeli Army has deployed troops within the UNRWA Headquarters in Gaza City. We are therefore unable to confirm or otherwise comment on these reports.
“In times of ‘no active conflict’ UNRWA inspects inside its premises every quarter, the last inspection for the UNRWA Gaza premises was completed in September 2023.”
Well, there you go. That answers everything. The explanation is clear: between September (when the last UNRWA inspection took place) and now, hamas built “a sophisticated data center directly beneath the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), complete with an electrical room, industrial battery power banks, and living quarters for Hamas terrorists overseeing the computer operations.” Badabing, badabam, badaboom. Issue solved. Right?
Yeah, that answers things…if you have a rocket launcher and a copy of Mein Kampf embedded where your brain is supposed to be.
Bob Hoge says that the US should have nothing to do with the UNRWA. Donald Trump, when President (and, I am certain, now) 100% agreed: he cut off all funding for it.
By contrast, Joe Biden, bless his ______ (you can fill in the organ you think most appropriate), immediately reinstituted that funding when he took office.
That should tell you something about something.
Bottom line: the UNRWA isn’t worth spitting on. Comparatively speaking, spit is more valuable. And, in my opinion, that goes for the overall United Nations as well. It has gone from being an imperative forum for international issues to a fetid swamp.
Time to get out…and organize a new international organization that, unlike today’s UN, is not, to a large extent, run by the worst this world has to offer.
