Given that President Biden made war on fossil fuels the first day he was in office…
…and, not at all surprisingly, oil prices (and the prices of everything that relied on gas and oil fuel to be produced/transported), jumped through the roof…
…but now oil/gas/prices have dropped back most of the distance from their highs in June of 2022 (gas was about $5 a gallon then and has fallen to about $3 a gallon now)…
…because we are again producing more oil than any other country in the world, just like we did when Trump was President/until Biden took office…
…did Joe Biden – or, more exactly, the people running this administration as Biden dodders here and there – facilitate the undoing of his initial agenda and make it easier to produce oil and gas, presumably because – damn the good intentions – lower costs make for a better chance of re-election?
I don’t know the answer to that question. I’m just asking. But I think it’s a helluva question, don’t you?
