Today’s quote comes to us from Rep. Tim Walberg, a seven-term Republican congressperson from Michigan…and religious Christian (a former pastor).
Rep. Walberg is a strong supporter of Israel…which, presumably, is why this sign was hung outside his district office window:

In case you have trouble reading the top part of the sign, here’s an enlarged picture:
Okay, there’s the catalyst for Rep. Walberg’s quote. Now here, via his news release regarding this sign and what it says about the kind of people who would put it up, is the quote itself:
“(Antisemitism) continues to sweep across the world, and sadly, it is alive in Michigan.
“This crisis reflects a lack of morality and genuine education. Nowhere was this more clear than last week, when some of the most prominent names in academia’s leadership displayed utter moral cowardice but also a broader systemic failure in higher education.
“One in five young Americans now think the Holocaust was a myth, and significantly more think it’s been exaggerated. Unfortunately, in part due to a failure of truthful and honest education, this type of incident has become common.”
“We need to make it rare again. We need to not only call out this bigotry when it occurs but examine the root causes and eliminate it.”
I award Rep. Tim Walberg Quote Of The Day honors for not being intimidated, but, instead, stating these facts so clearly, with no political equivocation.
What a refreshing difference from what is coming out of the politics-uber-alles Biden administration.
