How frustrating it is that I do not have a transcript to cut and paste from.
I just spent the last 15 – 20 minutes watching Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on CSPAN, at the National Press Club, talking about the nuclear “deal” and how to handle Iran, Syria and ISIS.
No one, and I do mean no one, talks more intelligently about this than Senator Graham.
To listen to Lindsey Graham, and then think about the fact that a barroom loudmouth like Donald Trump and a brilliant Surgeon with zero political credentials like Ben Carson, are sucking up all the media coverage, thus leaving him languishing in the next-to-nothing part of the polls – because no one gets to hear what he has to say – is infuriating.
Two examples of how Graham sees things (both of which are paraphrased from memory):
-The difference between Chamberlain and Obama is that at least Hitler lied to Chamberlain. Obama accepted this deal with khamenei telling him exactly what he intends to do.-The only reason there were 3,000 dead on 9/11 instead of 3,000,000 is that bin laden didn\’t have the weapons to kill 3,000,000. This deal is giving Iran the weapons.
And this is before we talk about the much more important part, which I can\’t paraphrase from memory – his detailed explanation of what we should do about Iran Syria and ISIS, and how we should do it – which is so spot-on that I wish everyone in the USA could be given the transcript to read, so they understand the quality, and value, of what Mr. Graham has to say.
