Today\’s quote – and it is a heart-wrenching one – comes to us from Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ).
Rep. Franks was speaking about one of the undercover videos created by the Center for Medical Progress, in which a former employee talked of being shown an “aborted baby” which was intact and had a beating heart….and then had a scissors stuck into the “aborted baby”, through its chin and upwards, so the brain could be extracted and sold.
Rep. Franks said this:
“One of these videos describes an incident where one of Planned Parenthood\’s employees calls one of the younger employees over to witness something that was \’kinda cool,\’ that one of the babies\’ hearts was still beating.The older employee then said, \’Okay, this is a really good fetus, and it looks like we can procure a lot from it. We can procure a brain.\’ And then using scissors, together the two employees, starting at the baby\’s chin, cut upward through the center of this child\’s face and pulled out the baby\’s little brain and placed it in a container where it could later be sold.“Mr. Chairman, I find it so crushingly sad that the only time this little baby was ever held by anyone in his short life was by those who cut his face open and took his brain.”
Please note that Mr. Franks keeps referring to a baby. Not a fetus, not some glob of tissue, but a baby.
Well, it was out of the womb, fully intact and had a beating heart. What would YOU call it?
This was not an abortion. This was infanticide. This was a live baby in the arms of someone who killed it…so the then-dead baby could be dismembered for money.
I award Trent Franks Quote Of The Day honors for making a statement that should be repeated in every news venue in the country, so people will know what is going on at Planned Parenthood…
…but will not be, because most mainstream media have decided that abortion – “a woman\’s right to choose” – supersedes all other considerations. Even killing live babies outside the womb, with hearts that are still beating.
That\’s one more heart than they have.
