On February 3, a train, filled with toxic materials, derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. It devastated the town. At least half it’s 5,000 or so residents evacuated for months. The air and water was horribly polluted – probably still is. An estimated 43,000 or so fish and animals died, and who knows how many others were physically damaged.
But 7 months later, President Joe Biden hasn’t bothered to show up there to offer condolences, promise help, etc.
He was asked about that yesterday. His answer?
“I haven’t had the occasion to go to East Palestine. There’s a lot going on here and I just haven’t been able to break out. I figured to go to East Palestine this week but I’ve been reminded I literally have to go around the world. I’m going from Washington to India to Vietnam, and so it’s going to be a while.”
That’s interesting. DIdn’t Biden just go to fire-ravaged (Democrat-controlled) Maui, less than two weeks after Lahaina was decimated? Didn’t Biden almost immediately go to hurricane ravaged (swing state) Florida – where he made this beyond-ridiculous statement?
But (strongly Republican-voting) East Palestine, Ohio? Seven months and counting.
Biden’s “explanation” is so dishonest, so preposterous, that even in his cognitively diminished state he should be ashamed to barf it out. How many vacations has he taken in the past seven months? How many days was his schedule cleared? How many days has he been on the beach this summer? And, as noted above, he sure as hell was able to get to other disaster areas without a problem.
But do not expect most of the completely compromised propaganda venues that pretend they are neutral media to talk about this outrageous lie. They are just as bad as he is…actually, even worse, unlike Biden they are not ravaged by senility, dementia or whatever has taken him down. They are doing this 100% knowingly.
Simply stated, you cannot trust Joe Biden to tell the truth about anything he says, and you cannot trust most media to tell the truth about what he says, no matter how dishonest it is.
