Suppose NBC News reported that a White sheriff\’s deputy, in full uniform, shot a Black man, execution-style, while he was doing nothing other than filling his car with gas at a service station.
Do you suppose race would be mentioned?
Well, a short time ago, I watched NBC news report about a White sheriff\’s deputy, Darren H. Goforth of Harris County (Houston), Texas, who, while in full uniform, was shot by a Black man, execution-style, while he was doing nothing other than filling his car with gas at a service station. And the killing took place just days after a Black radical group put a hit out on White cops.
But NBC News did not – repeat, DID NOT – mention either man\’s race. And on the NBC News web page, the only reference to race was that the killer was “dark complected” – which is a sanitized, intentionally nebulous and confusing, choice of words, made even more despicable by the surveillance video which clearly, unequivocally, shows that he is Black.
From Bob Price and Lana Shadwick\’s article at breitbart.com (NOT mainstream media, and certainly not NBC):
A Harris County Sheriffs Deputy was shot execution style at a gas station while reportedly in full uniform. The deputy was filling up his patrol car. Witnesses told Breitbart Texas the shooter shot the deputy in the back of the head and then three times in the back. This tragedy comes within days of a group of Black radicals calling for “lynching whites and killing cops,” as Breitbart Texas recently reported. Witnesses also told Breitbart Texas that the shooter was a black male.
And, from the above excerpt\’s linked article:
Members of the #FYF911 or #FukYoFlag and #BlackLivesMatter movements called for the lynching and hanging of white people and cops. They encouraged others on a radio show Tuesday night to “turn the tide” and kill white people and cops to send a message about the killing of black people in America.
One of the F***YoFlag organizers is called “Sunshine.” She has a radio blog show hosted from Texas called, “Sunshine’s F***ing Opinion Radio Show.”
During the show, callers clearly call for “lynching” and “killing” of white people.
Sick. Depraved. Racist to the nth degree. With a clear likelihood that this “radio show” spurred the killer of Deputy Sheriff Goforth…and completely unmentioned by NBC.
But please don\’t think NBC is the only one. ABC and CBS, based on their web sites, are just as complicit in sanitizing the racial component which is completely central to this story.
-I checked ABC News\’s web site, and it has the Associated Press report (AP being no better than the networks are), in which the only reference to race is that the killer is “dark-complexioned” – again, not Black, despite the surveillance video.
-And to complete the triumvirate, CBS News, now reporting that the police have picked up a suspect, does exactly the same thing – though it does put up a picture of Deputy Sheriff Goforth, as if that somehow substitutes for their lack of mentioning his race (see, if you don\’t say it, no one can accuse you of racism), and the Black radical lunatics who encouraged exactly this kind of execution.
Can we remember that these are the same networks which could not tire of reminding us that Trayvon Martin was just an innocent Black kid, walking down the street after buying ice tea and candy (a lie), as they relentlessly put up a picture of Martin as a cute little tween, instead of the thuggish, tatoooed 17 year old he was at the time of the shooting?
And can we remember that, for the last year, right up to the present, they have told us that Michael Brown was an “unarmed “Black teenager” – not the thug who had just robbed a convenience store and, according to the autopsy report, was high on marijuana when he came toward officer Darren Wilson (which proved that the “hands up, don\’t shoot” narrative was a complete lie)?
What can we possibly conclude from this, other than that NBC, ABC and CBS will jump to show the racial angle of instances where it can present a story as White on Black violence – however BS the stories are – but will run from any story where the violence is Black on White, and cower in a corner?
What are they afraid of? WHAT ARE THEY AFRAID OF?
Are they afraid that al sharpton or jessie jackson or louis farrakhan – career racists, Black supremacists all – will call them racists? Or the unwatched show hosts at MSNBC?
Can they possibly be that compromised? That willing to forego even the slightest hint of neutral journalism?
Well, you just read this blog. You tell me.
