As I type this, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is down to $40.75 – that\’s a drop of $1.87 today, and about 33% less than it was 7 weeks ago.
I just filled up at the local CostCo, and gas was $2.05 a gallon….down from $2.20 last week and the mid $2\’s when oil was over $60 a barrel.
Maybe gas is FINALLY starting to come down to where I would have expected it to be.
Oh, one other thing: apropos of nothing intelligent, I wound up at a Wegman\’s location, and several of the spaces had a sign saying “Customer With Child Parking”. Maybe I\’m a bit too literal here, but I immediately wondered why the customer would let the child do this.
Maybe I need a drink.
