Today\’s quote comes to us from presumptive Democrat presidential nominee (at least as of now) Hillary Clinton. As the email scandal continues to swirl and grow, and as it becomes eminently clear to even her most ardent supporters that she lied about the kind of material that was on her personal server, Ms. Clinton, while speaking to a crowd of enthusiastic supporters, decided it would be a great idea to defuse the email scandal with these words:
“By the way, you might have seen that I recently launched a Snapchat account. I love it. I love it. Those messages disappear all by themselves.”
The message in that quote? “Ha ha ha. If I used snapchat while I was Secretary of State, I wouldn\’t have had to try erasing the emails I\’m currently being nailed for. They would have erased themselves. Isn\’t that funny? Ha ha ha ha ha.”
Actually, Ms. Clinton, that is not funny at all. It is simultaneously disdainful, obnoxious and pathetic.
I award Hillary Clinton Quote Of The Day honors, for showing again – as if we needed any more evidence of it – what bad choices she makes, what a lousy campaigner she is, and why her candidacy is going down the crapper even before a major Democrat opponent (like Joe Biden, or even John Kerry) steps in to pick up the pieces.
