MICHAEL MOORE & ED SCHULTZ: WORKING CLASS HEROES

Some time ago I wrote about seeing Ed Schultz, the hard left (as of a number of years ago, when he decided there was more money in it than there was in the conservative views he was pushing then) former (as of a couple of weeks ago) MSNBC show host, at the bar when our children took us to JoJo, a famous restaurant in (ironically) the Trump International Tower off Columbus Circle in Manhattan.

At that time I pointed out that, from the looks of it, Schultz\’s sports jacket alone was worth more than everything I was wearing combined…and that if any of his viewers really thought he was some working class hero, they should have seen him then – and checked his eight-figure net worth.  The line I think I used then was something like “to the union guys Schultz tries to show commonality with:  trust me, he doesn\’t shop at the same places you do”.

Well, now we have Michael Moore, who tries to look exactly like a blue collar guy, with that scraggly three-day growth and the baseball hat.  Mr. Moore\’s ex-wife has just put the Michigan home they shared up for sale.  The price for this mansion, in ritzy Torch Lake?  $5.2 million dollars….which, until the marriage dissolved, was in addition to their multi-million dollar condo in Manhattan and – according to John Nolte of breitbart.com – seven other homes.

Financially, Moore blows Schultz away…with an estimated net worth of $50 million dollars compared to Schultz\’s paltry $10 – 15 million.

Two working class heroes, all right….
