ON THE CLINTONFRONT

In the great movie, “On The Waterfront”, an investigative committee demands the records of the mob-run longshoreman\’s union.  But it doesn\’t get them because the union big shots claim there was a robbery the night before, and the only thing stolen was the financial records.

Moviegoers were supposed to be enraged by this obviously fraudulent “robbery”, which conveniently eliminated the evidence that would put them all away.

In the current saga, “On The Clintonfront”, an investigative committee demands the emails on servers and thumb drives of Hillary Clinton, the supposedly presumptive Democrat presidential nominee.  But it doesn\’t get them because Ms. Clinton, after stalling for months, has had them deleted and erased, so – unless the FBI and DOJ hotshots can find a way to retrieve the emails – they are no longer there.

Voters are either going to be enraged by the removal of all emails, which – Ms. Clinton hopes – has conveniently eliminated any evidence that might damage or end her presidential aspirations….or they are going to swallow hard – very hard – and pretend this is not why the emails were removed.

We\’re going to get some of both.  It remains to be seen how many fall in each category.

Which are you?
