You\’ve heard of ObamaCare? Well, now we have ClintonCare.
ClintonCare is what media provide when they realize their darling is sinking like the Titanic, and there is nobody – at least as of now – to fill the void, other than an unelectable 73 year old far leftist no one ever heard of until a month ago, who isn\’t even a Democrat (he magically became one to challenge Ms. Clinton, but was an independent until then).
In a very real sense, it is political ObamaCare.
To illustrate: yesterday we found out that the FBI has seized Hillary Clinton\’s hard frives and thumb drives – which a) she said had nothing on them but b) desperately held onto them anyway for months while b) she had (and, I would bet body parts, used) the opportunity to try to scrub them of anything and everything.
So how are mainstream media handling this obviously major news story? Two examples for you:
1. The Today show\’s “coverage” was a story in which the only person quoted was Hillary Clinton spokesperson Jennifer Palmieri and the only guest interviewed was Howard Dean: Democrat, former head of the DNC and a self-avowed huge Hillary supporter. Republican reaction? No quote, no guest.
2. Today\’s New York Times “coverage” was……………….sorry, I can\’t answer that. Because there was none. Not one word about it. Not on the front page (which is where it should have been), not one word in the entire news section. By incredible coincidence, today is the day The Times picked to say not one word about the currently presumptive Democrat candidate for President.
There you go. ClintonCare.
And until Ms. Clinton extricates herself from the scandals permeating her candidacy (which is never, because these scandals cannot be whitewashed away), or a new candidate can be found who has a chance of winning (right now Joe Biden is the obvious one, but maybe another will materialize), ClintonCare “coverage” is what you can expect….
…from people who, laughingly, call themselves “journalists”.
