Kathleen Kane is the Attorney General of the state of Pennsylvania.
In March of last year, I wrote about Kane playing fast and loose with the law, on a purely partisan basis. the blog was titled “KATHLEEN KANE: PARTISAN TOAD”, and that description could not have been more accurate.
Today, Kane has been charged with perjury and obstructing administration of law. Her behavior has been so egregious that Governor Tom Wolf, a fellow Democrat, is calling on her to resign (which, so far, she says she will not do).
I wonder how long it will take to disgorge her from office….and how ugly it will get.

UPDATE: That didn\’t take long.
The new information is that Kane is surrendering to authorities tomorrow (Saturday).
She still is not admitting to anything and says she won\’t resign.
