THE QUOTE OF THE DAY – AND YEAR

It is only August, but I think we have our quote of the year.  Because, for sheer mindless stupidity I do not know how anything could possibly beat it.

From our Secretary Of State, John Kerry, speaking about congress possibly rejecting the disastrous nuclear “deal” he and President Obama cooked up; the one in which they caved on just about everything; the one that Iran\’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah khamenei, has already reneged on, by telling us he will not allow any inspections of military sites:

“Reneging on the nuclear agreement, which has the support of the major world powers, would constitute a setback for Washington and justify anti-American animus in Iran.

“The ayatollah constantly believed that we are untrustworthy, that you can\’t negotiate with us, that we will screw them,.  (congress voting it down) will be the ultimate screwing.

“The United States Congress will prove the ayatollah\’s suspicion, and there\’s no way he\’s ever coming back. He will not come back to negotiate. Out of dignity, out of a suspicion that you can\’t trust America. America is not going to negotiate in good faith. It didn\’t negotiate in good faith now, would be his point.”

Let me start by saying something with language I rarely use here.  FUCK the Ayatollah.

-He stalled this negotiation for months, while he used the money from sanctions that had been suspended to advance Iran\’s nuclear capability.

-He then “agreed” to the most watered-down version he could get.

-He has already told us in so many words that he is not going to abide by even the watered-down version.

-After agreeing to this disaster, he has continued to orchestrate crowds of Iranians marching through the streets chanting “Death to America!  Death To Israel!”

-He issued  a 416 page book, just this week which brags about how he is going to take down America and Israel.

And John Kerry is worried about offending his sensibilities????????????????????

I do not give a damn about his sensibilities, and only fools like John Kerry – and his boss – would.

Next let me point out something Mr. Kerry is either ignorant of or wants to pretend he is ignorant of.  This “deal IS SUBJECT TO CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL.  If congress rejects it, that is not reneging on anything.  Further, congressional approval has been part of the defined, fully overt process that everyone has known about for months.  Pretending it shows us to be untrustworthy is something only fools like John Kerry – and his boss – would say.

And what difference does it make if “there\’s no way he\’s ever coming back” if he doesn\’t abide by what he agrees to?   Pretending there is any relevance here is something only fools like John Kerry – and his boss – would do.

I award John Kerry Quote Of The Day – and Year – honors for arrogantly demanding that congress ignore its legal responsibility and sign on to a ridiculous, disastrous deal that, even if  it were beneficial, Iran is not abiding by anyway.

There are many fools in the world, but fools of this dimension are not that easy to find.  And, God help us, we have two of them in positions of power.

Can January 20, 2017 come faster?  Please?  I\’m begging.
