MATT LAUER\’S SHAMEFUL “INTERVIEW” OF MIKE HUCKABEE

Matt Lauer attacked Mike Huckabee this morning.

He did not interview Mr. Huckabee, he attacked him. 

Lauer consistently talked over Huckabee, working hard – and largely succeeding – in making it as difficult as possible for Today viewers to hear why he said that the nuclear “deal” would “take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven”.

Now, a question for you:  Was Mike Huckabee way over the top to make this claim?  Over the top at all?

Before you answer, consider that, as Huckabee pointed out:

-The terrorist-supporting lunatics who run Iran have said – specifically and publicly – they will wipe Israel off the map,

-That they are glad so many Jews have congregated in Israel because it is that much easier to kill them,

-And that Israel is a “one bomb country” – meaning that a well placed nuclear bomb would obliterate it. 

-Then also consider the weekly state-orchestrated demonstrations where Iranian people go to the streets chanting of “Death to America!”  “Death to Israel”, which Iran\’s Supreme Leader khamenei says this about (bold print is mine): 

“You heard \’Death to Israel\’, \’Death to the US.\’ You could hear it. The whole nation was shaken by these slogans. It wasn\’t only confined to Tehran. The whole of the nation, you could hear, that was covered by this great movement. So we ask Almighty God to accept these prayers by the people of Iran.”

Now I will ask again:  was Mike Huckabee way over the top to make this claim? Over the top at all?

Matt Lauer\’s performance was disgraceful.  He turned what should have been an interesting, insightful interview into an obnoxious, mindless hit piece which no doubt warmed the hearts of the terrorists in Tehran.

Shame on him.
