What if they held a Hillary Clinton event on a college campus, and nobody came?
Before you assume that\’s a hypothetical, please look at this picture:
You are looking at Friday\’s, er, “crowd”, for the College Democrats For America\’s annual convention, held at the University of District of Columbia — about as Democrat-friendly a venue as you can find.
And before anyone says “well, who did they have on tap to draw an audience”, among the speakers were long-time face of the Democrat Party, Donna Brazile, and rising-star Julian Castro, who is being talked about as Hillary Clinton\’s possible running mate if she wins the nomination.
You can read more about this eventless event by clicking here for Mariana Barillas\’s article at campusreform.org.
Then you can wonder, with me, about how much coverage this obvious disaster would have gotten if it were the College Republicans for America annual convention and had similar heavyweight speakers from that side of the aisle.
