Is Missouri\’s jay nixon the worst Governor in the country?
You may recall that, after Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson, nixon demanded “a vigorous prosecution” of Wilson – before he knew a damn thing about what actually happened. The investigation, and autopsy report, made it clear that the “hands up – don\’t shoot” claim was a fraud, the autopsy report supported eye witnesses who said Brown was shot while coming toward Officer Wilson rather than running away, and also showed that Brown was high on marijuana. This evidence resulted in a grand jury not indicting Wilson.
And then, you may recall, when street thugs and anarchists swarmed the streets of downtown Ferguson, nixon called out the National Guard….but declined to send them in when the rioting, looting and burning took place. They were there as spectators when Ferguson was destroyed.
You can read all about it by clicking here.
And now? What is Governor nixon doing these days? Well, according to the Associated Press, nixon made a speech before La Raza, a radical, racist Latino group (La Raza is Spanish for “The Race” – it\’s not like they make themselves unclear), in which he proudly announced he is vetoing legislation that would block illegal aliens from receiving two years of “free” (if you call taxpayer money “free” that is) tuition at in-state community colleges.
Think about this: If nixon\’s veto holds, a legal citizen who lives in neighboring Kansas could not get a penny of the tuition money. But an illegal, from Mexico, is handed it on a silver platter.
The Missouri Legislature voted against this travesty (as if there should have even been a vote; as if it were not inherent that illegal aliens don\’t get special benefits from the taxpayers). But nixon, pandering to left wing radical Latinos, used his veto to subvert that vote.
At the beginning of this blog, I asked whether jay nixon is the worst Governor in the United States. I don\’t know the answer – maybe there is someone even worse. But don\’t tell me he is not one of the frontrunners.
I hope the voters of Missouri realize as much, next election day. I wonder if they will.
