Apropos of nothing political…
…this picture, which I am assured is not photoshopped (even if it is, it\’s a great picture) was taken from the Baltimore Beacon in County Cork, Ireland, where whales sometimes come close to shore, as you – and presumably the folks in that fishing boat – can pretty plainly see:
Remember Roy Scheider\’s famous line in Jaws – “We\’re going to need a bigger boat”?
Those guys might need a bigger body of water. Either that or parachutes, if the whale decided to surface. How high in the air do you figure its tail could send them?
Ok, back to politics, where, in relative terms, the egos are often the size of that whale, and the accomplishments are often the size of that boat.
