JOHN KASICH: ON DECK?

Jeb Bush, I would think, concerns Democrats, because he was a popular two-time Governor of a swing state and has a universally recognized name (one that can hurt him as well as help him, subject to Mr. Bush\’s political talents).

Marco Rubio, I would think, concerns Democrats even more, because he is young, fresh, dynamic and comes across as about 20 times more sincere than the newly repackaged version of the previously repackaged version of whatever Hillary Clinton pretended to be before that (I don\’t write blogs long enough to go through her entire litany).

But now John Kasich – as many suspected he would, is also making sounds about possibly entering the race as well.

Kasich should worry Democrats more than either Bush or Rubio.  He is an 18 year veteran of the House of Representatives, a current, not former, twice-elected Governor of a swing state with a long record of accomplishment and of working with both parties….and he still is younger (6 years) and fresher (incalculably) than “Her-Again Hillary”.

There are many people who believe that Hillary Clinton\’s candidacy, and presidential win, are inevitable.

Believe me, she\’s evitable.  And while John Kasich may or may not be Republicans\’ best chance to beat Hillary Clinton (I think he is), he certainly is not the only chance they have.  Not by a long shot.

One other thing:  I have left out Rand Paul and Ted Cruz because I don\’t think either can win…and don\’t think either should.

If you liked Nevada\’s Sharron Angle, and you liked Indiana\’s Richard Mourdoch, you\’ll love either of these two.  Because, though for somewhat different reasons, they both share Angle\’s and Mourdoch\’s voter appeal (very limited), and they both have the same chance of winning a general election (slim to none).

UPDATE:  Are you into unbridled hatred?  I mean pure, unadulterated hatred of the vilest order?

Then click here.  It will take you to crooksandliars.com\’s blog about John Kasich possibly entering the presidential race.

I am not directing you to the article itself, which is entirely neutral (an oddity for crooksandliars.com, which usually is anything but).  Instead, I am directing you to the comments section – which, sadly, is not an oddity; it is all too typical of what the C&L regulars have to say on just about every subject involving someone or some thing which does not parallel their their lunatic-fringe-left-wing view of the world.

Enjoy.  And be sure to bring some disinfectant.
