PELOSI: LIAR

The fact that nancy pelosi lies is nothing new.  Anyone who has followed the career of this career political hack knows she does not have a sincere bone in her body.

But her lies regarding the COVID-19 crisis, while fully expected, are egregious enough to merit being singled out.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hit the cable networks on Sunday, running with two main talking points: the first being the blatant lie that President Donald Trump said the Wuhan coronavirus is a “hoax,” the second being that the president didn’t take the virus seriously from the get-go.

During a Sunday morning interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, the journalist pressed the speaker on her own actions. Back in February, Pelosi encouraged residents in her San Francisco district to visit Chinatown because “everything is fine.”

“If the president underplayed the threat in the early days, Speaker Pelosi, didn’t you as well?” Wallace asked. 

“No,” Pelosi said, smiling. “What we were trying to end the discrimination, the stigma that was going out against the Asian American community. 

Pelosi has a lot of nerve to say that she took the Wuhan coronavirus seriously from the get-go. If she did, she wouldn’t have encouraged people to visit Chinatown. Even if she wanted to put a stop to so-called “racism,” she could have reminded people that Asian Americans are not responsible for this pandemic. The Chinese Communist Party is. 

It’s hard to read those comments and not think nancy pelosi considers her supporters a bunch of mindless morons.  A bunch of drones, like the fawning audiences of “The View”, who will reflexively cheer anything that comes out of her mouth, however ridiculous it is.

The “Trump said this was a hoax” lie is so obvious that even venues like the left-wing “fact-checker” snopes.com, had to admit as much.  Even the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler gave it “4 Pinocchios” – his biggest “it’s a lie” rating.  But there’s nancy pelosi, barfing it out and hoping that you are stupid and ignorant enough to buy it.

And the Chinatown claim?  On February 24th Nancy Pelosi went on camera to tour San Francisco’s “Chinatown” area, and exhort people to come there, join the fun, go to the restaurants, etc.

Let me remind you of the date again:  February 24:  weeks after we knew  how serious this issue was and weeks after the Trump administration had acted aggresively to address.

And her rationale?  Well, it was to fight racism, you see.

In other words, come out, pack in here, maybe get the virus, maybe spread the virus, maybe die and/or cause others to die, it’s all in the cause of anti-racism.

You would have to be brain dead to believe this.  And that, evidently, is exactly what pelosi is counting on.

What a fraud.  What a hypocrite.  What a liar.
