Does the name Virginia Roberts ring a bell?
Ms. Roberts, now 30 years old, is the woman who claims that, as a 17 year old “sex slave” procured by billionaire convicted pedophile, jeffrey epstein, she serviced, among others, Harvard professor/hotshot lawyer Alan Dershowitz and the UK\’s Prince Andrew.
But most intriguingly (to me), Roberts denies having sex with former President Bill Clinton, even though Clinton was a guest, multiple times, at Epstein\’s private Island, where much of this activity was supposed to have taken place – not that it necessarily matters, given that, according to many reports, Virginia Roberts was far from the only teenybopper available through epstein.
First question: what if the allegations are true?
-For Dershowitz, it would mean scandal, humiliation and disgrace. He vehemently denies Roberts\’ allegations and states, categorically, that, other than than one time…which could easily be deemed coincidence…he can prove he was not where Roberts alleges they had sex at the times she alleges it took place.
I have no basis for believing or not believing Mr. Dershowitz – which is the power of making such allegations, isn\’t it? Even if he is perfectly innocent this will stick with him forever.
-For Prince Andrew, it would mean scandal, humiliation and disgrace. And he\’d still be a Prince and still be a member of the royal family and would still retain his succession to the throne.
Given what has been described as his loose post-marital lifestyle (he divorced “Fergie” in 1996), I would not be surprised to find out that Andrew was in on the fun and games – whether with Roberts or other “sex slaves” Epstein seemed to accumulate. But, as with Mr. Dershowitz, I do not know one way or the other.
-For Bill Clinton, however, the calculus is very different.
Not for Clinton himself. One of his great talents – arguably his greatest – has always been the ability to convince people that if he gets away with something, it somehow is a triumph for them as well.
But Bill Clinton has a wife – her name is Hillary, perhaps you have heard of her – who aspires to the Presidency in two years…which, given her age and physical shape, is almost certainly her last shot at it.
Now the key question; the one that could blow this story sky-high: what if tapes surface showing Bill Clinton en flagrante delicto with underage girls, supplied by a convicted pedophile?

If there are no tapes, there may – may – be no problem.
But if there are, what is Ms. Clinton supposed to do?
Since her being President would make Bill Clinton the “First Gentleman”, and given that, as of now, he is a very popular ex-President, I assume she intended to sell the idea of another “co-presidency”, as he did with her in 1992 and 1996.
-Can she sell the idea of a co-presidency if it is proven, on tape, that Clinton was sexing underage girls?
-Could Ms. Clinton again sell herself as a helpless, hapless victim – the way she did when the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke (and the other sex scandals were swept under the rug)? Would the country vote for someone so easily duped this way a second time?
-Would the country maintain its high image of Bill Clinton?
-If not, would the country vote for a candidate whose victory would put him back in the White House?
-And – here\’s a major league biggie – if it causes her to withdraw from presidential contention, who in the world does the Democrat Party have to replace her with?
This, to say the least, is one to watch.
