THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION\’S WAR ON BLACK WORKING PEOPLE

For years, I have been blogging about the disastrous affect that handing amnesty to millions of illegal aliens will have on Black employment.  Want examples?  Click here, here and here for just three.

Well, now Barack Obama has done it.  And that nightmare for Black working people has come true.

But, this time, instead of telling you about it in my own words, I think I will defer to two (among many) Black media personalities who see this for what it is.

First we have Washington D.C. talk radio host Stacy Washington:

Well, black liberals, sorry – but I have to put you on blast.

Everytime this country has pardoned illegal immigrants, crime and blackunemployment have gone through the roof.  Don\’t believe me? Check the statistics from Reagan\’s congressionally-approvedamnesty package.  Not only did three times as many illegalimmigrants as were promised become legal through the undiscoveredintricacies of chain immigration, but the crime rate soared and blackunemployment went through the roof.

Sorryagain, black liberals.  You just got dumped!

And then there is Chicago talk radio host Charles Butler:

Thefact is President Obama will do with the stroke of a pen what 300years of slavery, Jim Crow and legal segregation could not: destroythe hopes and dreams of millions of black Americans.  Hisposition on illegal immigration and reform is not tenable given thenumerous sources of information that warn of the negative impact ofimmigration reform on black Americans and low-income Americans.

Is there disagreement on this issue among Black media personalities?  Yes, of course there is.  al sharpton, for example, is 100% on board with President Obama\’s unilateral amnesty.  But, then again, sharpton is a made man in the Democrat Party and an unconditional Obama acolyte.  For him, no support for amnesty would mean no more big-shot status and no more invites to the White House.  He can\’t have that, can he?

This amnesty is a disaster for Black workers, who will now find themselves competing with suddenly-legal illegals for the same jobs…and probably for lower wages since illegals, by and large, are willing to work for less.

Not only will this take the already-awful Black employment situation and carve a gash right through it, but it will probably inflame racial tensions between Black and Latino people as well.

I agree that something significant has to be done regarding the millions of illegals in this country.  But it has to be done legislatively, not by dictatorial fiat.  Barack Obama circumvented the congress and decided he, and he alone, has the power to act – which not only is untrue but flies in the face of his own words, stated dozens of times, that he cannot unilaterally on immigration reform.

I guess he just doesn\’t give a damn about the constitution.

And I guess he just doesn\’t give a damn about Black working people – since, by these actions, he has declared war on them.

But, then again, what does he care?  As long as the Democrat Party owns more than 9 in 10 Black votes, so neither he nor any other Democrat has to do a thing for them.

I only hope the Black people who are affected by what Mr. Obama has done remember how it came to be and who supported it.
