Having just read the umpteenth article touting Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) as a serious presidential prospect in 2016….
…let me put this one to rest right now.
Rand Paul is a one-term senator, with no experience in any leadership role in the senate and no executive experience in or out of politics. He is eminently unqualified to be President of the United States.
And that is before we get to his strange mixed-bag of positions – and flip-flops on those positions – which leaves me (and maybe you) scratching my head and wondering if he has multiple personalities.
It is also before we factor in his father, Ron Paul, who – based on the looney-tune newsletter he put out for years – is a racist and anti-Semitic jerk.
I have no desire at all to vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016. But if she runs, and Rand Paul is her opponent, she will get my vote.
