Why do I say this? Here is all you need to know, courtesy of an article at Bloomberg.com:
Ajudge in CorpusChristi said Texas\’s alleged goal of preventing voter frauddoesn\’t outweigh the discriminatory effect on the poor, blacks andHispanics.
“Thedraconian voting requirements” imposed by the law “willdisproportionately impact low-income Texans because they are lesslikely to own or need one of the seven qualified IDs to navigatetheir lives,” U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos, a 2011appointee of Democratic President BarackObama, wrote in yesterday\’s ruling.
Translation: an Obama appointee, reciting DNC talking points, calls a choice of seven different IDs “draconian” because low-income Texans (i.e. “Blacks and Hispanics”) are less likely to own or need them (and apparently, in Judge Ramos\’s eyes, less capable of getting them. Nice statement about Black and Hispanic people, your honor).
Congratulations to Judge Ramos\’s party: the party which so desperately wants there to be no way to check whether voters are who they say they are; the party which insists there is no such thing as voter fraud…..knowing full-well that, in the absence of ID requirements, there is no way to uncover it.
When you look for corruption – bribery, that sort of thing – the easiest, most logical way is to follow the money.
And when you look for which party is most likely to be ok with illegal voters – the easiest, most logical, way is to follow the party that doesn\’t want anyone to check who is voting.
Make sense?
