If mainstream media, MSNBC in particular, and the Democrat powers that be, can look the other way at al sharpton\’s career of race hating, race baiting, Black supremacy and anti-Semitism, fraud and incitement, why not this too?

MSNBChost Al Sharpton will be the keynote speaker at the Council onAmerican-Islamic Relations\’s (CAIR) 20th anniversary banquet onSaturday. Sharpton, who is President Obama\’s “go-to man onrace,” and who claims to be helping the White House pickoutgoing Attorney General Eric Holder\’s successor, will be a guest ofhonor of the group, which was listed as a co-conspirator in acriminal case against an Islamic charity that raised millions forHamas.
Back in January 2009, shortly after the President\’s firstinauguration, the FBI severed ties with CAIR “in the wake of a15-year…investigation that culminated with the conviction inDecember [2008] of Hamas fundraisers at a trial where CAIR itself waslisted as an unindicted co-conspirator,” according to a reportat the time by Fox News\’s Joseph Abrams. The correspondent noted that”CAIR\’s executive director, Nihad Awad…was shown to haveparticipated in planning meetings with the Holy Land Foundation, fiveofficials of which were convicted in December of funneling $12.4million to Hamas.”
Abrams later reported that “prosecutorsidentified CAIR\’s chairman emeritus, Omar Ahmad, as an unindictedco-conspirator in that trial, and [FBI] Special Agent Lara Burnstestified that CAIR was a front group for radical organizationsoperating in the U.S.”
Is this any surprise? I think not. How could it be? This is what al sharpton is, and has always been.
How proud most mainstream media must be to continually sweep his ugly history – right up to his present – under the rug.
How proud MSNBC must be to have him as a show host – i.e. a representative of its brand.
How proud the Democrat Party must be that he is one of its most influential kingmakers.
And how fervently I hope all people of good will read this blog, then think long and hard about its meaning before casting their ballots in November.
