TRUMP’S WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT’S DINNER NO-SHOW

For the third consecutive year, President Trump will skip the White House Correspondent’s Dinner.

Last year, the “comedy” part of that dinner was provided by the execrable michelle wolf, whose idea of “humor” was to insult presidential press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ physical appearance to Ms. Sanders’ face.

Do you blame him?  I don’t.

According to the non-partisan Pew Research Center, 92% of media coverage for President Trump is negative.

Add in last year’s disgusting performance by michelle wolf (not the first time a “comedian” has used this forum to tear up Republicans far more than Democrats) and what reason would he have to attend?

Trump says that, on the day of the dinner, he’s going to have a rally instead, at some yet-to-be-determined venue.  And, based on just about every other rally Trump has had, we can expect it to feature overflowing crowds of hugely supportive people.

If you were Trump, who would you rather spend your evening with?  Media who hate you or voters who love you?

Me too.

So congratulations to the White House press corps.  The combination of your relentlessly negative coverage, and President Trump’s bad reaction to it (can you blame him?) has resulted in the object of this dinner again being a no-show.

But don’t worry.  Just wait it out.  Because the next time a Democrat is President, he she is highly likely to attend – even if you put up a michelle wolf clone,  maybe even wolf herself, to personally insult Republicans.

In other words, business as usual.  How happy you will be.
