AHAB SCHIFF MAKING A HORSE’S ASS OF HIMSELF (AGAIN)

OK, OK, I admit that Ahab* Schiff (D-CA) making a horse’s ass of himself is nothing new.

But this time, while being asked very tough, very fair questions by NBC’s Willie Geist, is a particularly ripe example.

As is obvious, Schiff continues to hang his hat primarily on a single meeting that Donald Trump Jr. attended, in which a Russian (NOT the Russian government) claimed she could offer dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Let’s stop there:  suppose – worst case scenario for Trump – that the lawyer who called this meeting had all sorts of dirt on Ms. Clinton and Trump’s son was happy to get it.  What law would have been broken?

The answer – a little something Schiff and his pals intentionally overlook – is that no law would have been broken.  Not one.

And that’s before we get to the fact that, in actuality, Trump Jr. spent just a few minutes at the meeting, realized the lawyer was full of it, and walked out on her.

So Ahab Schiff is left with trying to justify his BS by saying, over and over again, that if anyone in Trump’s entourage had any congress with any Russian, legal or otherwise, meaningful or unmeaningful, it could technically be called “collusion”…

…which is like equating running a red light with murder, on the grounds that, in both instances, the law was broken.

What a horse’s ass this man is.
