As ISIS continues its campaign of 10th century-quality campaign of hatred and butchery of human beings, have you read, or seen, any condemnation of its activities by Muslim groups in the United States?
I know I haven\’t. But, in fairness, it is possible that their heartfelt concern for the Christians, and Muslims who do not shareISIS\’s beliefs just has not been reported.
So I went to the web sites of three groups: CAIR (The Council on American Islamic Relations), ISNA (The Islamic Society of North America) and MANA (The Muslim Alliance of North America) to check.
And I found………..nothing. Not a word about ISIS in any of them.
This is a mass-murdering terrorist group which – in the name of Allah – is killing people by the thousands across several Muslim countries, even beheading children for the crime of being Christian (I\’ve seen the pictures – I decline to put them up here, but they are beyond horrific).
And, though I had no trouble finding support for Gaza, run by the terrorist hamas, not one of these groups has a word to say about the murders and butchery committed in Allah\’s name by ISIS (though maybe this blog will shame a response out of one or another of them).
Should the studied, deliberate ignoring of ISIS by major Muslim groups in the USA concern us? Should it concern Muslims of good will who want to live in peace with others (and do not doubt that there are plenty of them)?
Never mind: no need to ask. You know the answer as well as I do.
