At 72 years of age, and a political junkie for most of my adult life, I’ve seen a lot of media providing a lot of reportage on the subject.
But, in all this time, I have never seen anything like the level of partisan dishonesty most mainstream media have foisted on us about Donald Trump over these past two years. Nothing even comes close.
Massive, indisputable, irrefutable evidence of crimes committed by Hillary Clinton and her deep state supporters are suppressed and buried, while a claim of Russian collusion – still un-evidenced after two years of trying anything and everything to ferret it out, has been built in to a gigantic house of cards…which would fall if just a few of the media venues in question would finally, at long last, stop the charade, the cover-up, say “I can’t do this anymore”, and report both sides honestly.
But that hasn’t happened yet. I despair that it will happen any time soon, if ever.
And now, we have the revelation that our compromised, deep-state FBI literally planted a spy – possibly two spies – in the Trump campaign.
To do WHAT? To PROTECT Trump from Russian meddling, as the lying james clapper claims?
Does he think we are all hopeless partisans and/or idiots? Does he hope we all are too dumb to figure out that, if this were the case, he’d have warned Donald Trump about his need for protection…and offered the same protection to Hillary Clinton for the same reason?
For the past year, Fox News’s Sean Hannity, thehill.com’s Sara Carter and John Solomon, and National Review’s Andrew McCarthy, among others, have been all over this national disgrace. But where are the mainstream news venues?
As more and more evidence comes out, and the deep state liars continue to twist themselves into contortionists’ wet dreams trying to explain the evidence away, where are the network news shows? The NY Times? LA Times? Washington Post?
What has become of our media? How can they ever come back from what they have done to themselves? That’s a question I would be hard pressed to answer.
As for the politicians? In January, I wrote a blog Titled ONE VOICE. ALL IT TAKES IS ONE VOICE. In it, I expressed the hope that one or more Democrat officeholders would break free of their partisan chains, say “I can’t take it any more”, and admit what has been going on for this time.
But, truth be told, I don’t expect that to happen any more than I expect it from our impossibly compromised media.
