David Hogg, the Leopoldo Pisanello of Parkland, has been resurrected – briefly, I would assume, since he’s now yesterday’s news – by….what a surprise here…CNN.
Anderson Cooper, apparently bereft of any more worthwhile news (such as Kerry trying to subvert the current administration’s policy on Iran, a U.S. District judge putting the wood to Mueller’s investigation Star Chamber, etc.) decided to interview him last night.
And during his interview, Cooper asked Hogg, and his fellow Pisanello, Cameron Kasky, whether they think President Trump is scared of the NRA (yes, a supposedly professional news commentator actually asked that as a serious question).
Here is Hogg’s answer:
“I think people in the situation that are really scared would be the NRA. This is the first time they had the president and the vice president come out to the annual convention for the NRA. What they are seeing here is, what they are worried because the support we’ve been getting and the support we’ll have in mid-terms. Because like it or not, we don’t care if you are exact or Republican or Democrat, if you are supported with the NRA, you don’t stand with kids you stand with the gun manufacturers and the people making money off this fear and tragedy that is perpetuating itself.”
(Sigh)….illogical, semi-coherent talking points. Again. Just like before, when some people cared.
OK, we got it David.
Now you can go back on your road to obscurity…unless, of course, another Anderson Cooper is desperate enough to try to resurrect you again
