This quote is from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said it during an interview on Fox News Sunday. I just read it in Jonah Goldberg\’s column at townhall.com (which is superb – please use the link to read it). Trust me: I would have put this up earlier if I knew Mr. Netanyahu had said it:
“Here\’sthe difference between us. We\’re usingmissile defense to protect our civilians, and they\’re using theircivilians to protect their missiles.”
Truer words were never spoken….or ignored by the Israel-haters who have convinced themselves that Israel is why the body count of Palestinian Arabs is dramatically higher than that of Israelis when, in fact, hamas is orchestrating that body count every way it knows how.
hamas fired missiles and other artillery into Israel non-stop until Israel responded. Then when Israel fired back, hamas put out a succession of videos on its state-run TV, assuring Israelis they would be killed anywhere they went in their regular lives and that they better start getting the coffins ready. Then, when Israel warned Gazans before hitting targets in civilian areas, via dropping leaflets, even telephone-calling, hamas demanded that its own people stay right where they were – i.e. right in the line of fire.
hamas wanted this, worked hard to get it, and got its wish. Every dead Palestinian Arab is on their hands. Period, end of story.
