Ina 2011 speech in El Paso, Obama ripped Republicans for holding upimmigration legislation because of border security concerns.
“Overthe past two years we have answered those concerns,” he said.”We have strengthened border security beyond what many believedwas possible.”
“TheBorder Patrol has 20,000 agents – more than twice as many as therewere in 2004,” he said, adding that the border “fence isnow basically complete.”
Ayear later, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano toldlawmakers: “Simply put, the Obama administration has undertakenthe most serious and sustained actions to secure the Southwest borderin our nation\’s history.”
Andthis is to say nothing of Obama\’s 2008 campaign promise to secure theborder using “additional personnel, infrastructure andtechnology.”

PresidentBarack Obama asked Congress Tuesday for $3.73 billion in emergencyappropriations to address the influx of child migrants crossing theSouthwest border and Rio Grande from Central America.
WHY: Why would an additional 3.7 billion dollars be needed to address the breaching of a border President Obama and his people told us was so secure just a few years ago? What happened – other than Mr. Obama encouraging the flood of illegal minors (NOT “child migrants” but illegal minors, David) to come, and get a free pass on entry into the USA?
Does anyone in the Obama administration ever tell the truth about anything?
