For weeks, mainstream media have regaled us with that Scroogian Donald Trump slashing Medicaid.

it’s not being slashed at all. And here is the evidence – supplied by Trump, and acknowledged as accurate by the decidedly anti-Trump Associated Press, in an article which, fascinatingly enough, attacks him for inflicting “deep cuts” in the program.:
Take a good luck. Do you see any deep cuts? And slight cuts? Any cuts at all?
What is being “cut” is how steep the increase will be.
In other words, it continues to go up. Just not as fast as before.
So tell me; is the claim that Trump is decreating Medicaid serious media coverage? Or is it more of that “fake news” he rails about?
