Does the public care about James Comey’s firing?
To hear Democrats and their media acolytes tell it, this is Watergate II on steroids, and the world is coming to an end.
But to look at this chart, compiled by axios.com, showing the facebook reach during the first few days after Comey’s firing versus the first few days of a number of other major events in Donald Trump’s still-young presidency, is to see a very different story.

Does that look like the Comey firing is a hot-button issue to the folks on Main Street?
It’s not even a cold-button issue.
Maybe that’s because the “Russian collusion” narrative, which Democrats and their media accomplices are floating to explain Comey’s dismissal, has no legs either.
It is pretty clear that most people have moved on from the still-evidenceless “Russia gave Trump the election” narrative.
And now, after spending the last half year of Democrats telling us what a turd Comey was – the same Democrats who are now howling about how terrible it is that Trump showed him the door – they are supposed see this as sincere? Credible? Meaningful?
Here’s a hint to the hopelessly lost Democrat leadership: better job numbers and fewer illegals streaming across the border are 100 times more relevant to the folks on Main Street than your concocted, made-for-media BS.
Got it? I doubt you do.

Here is something to think about.
I heard an excellent comment today.
If the Left believed Comey conspired with Trump to hand him the election [because of what he did to Hilary] why would they trust Comey to fairly run the Russia conspiracy investigation???
