THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from symone sanders, former Press Secretary to Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont), who gave Hillary Clinton a run for her money during the presidential primaries:

Here is what sanders has to say about the four Black “youths” (three teens, one 24 year old) who abducted and tortured a mentally challenged White teenager and subjected him to a series of profane, overtly racist comments as he was being physically attacked:

“I just want to remind folks that we cannot sit here and ignore that — at least for the last year on very public display — the worst parts of America have been brought from the fringe into the mainstream.  That affects people on both sides. We’ve talked about white nationalists and white supremacists and the KKK, but there also, when this inflammatory rhetoric is out there, when someone is repeatedly telling you that your community is the worst of the worst, it brings out the worst of the worst in people.”

Translation.  Don’t blame the Black perpetrators, blame Donald Trump.

Yes, your honor, he’s the one who made them do it.  If there were no Donald Trump telling them that inner city Black neighborhoods are a shambles and promising to do something about it, these four would be getting ready for medical school this very day.

Regular readers of hopelesslypartisan.com are probably familiar with the name symone sanders, because, last November 23,  I did an installment of  my “Real Racism” series, which featured her comments that..

“In my opinion we don’t need white people leading the democratic party right now.”

“I’m here for the millennials and the brown folks”.

I award symone sanders Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for showing us yesterday, as she did in November, what real racism – not concocted racism or implied racism, but real racism – truly is.

  • I have lost count of the stories I have read over the last few weeks that take a shot at Trump from left field.
