Making good on a promise of Donald Trump’s – one which they obviously are in full accord with – Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) have drafted legislation which will move the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital city of Jerusalem…
…the same Jerusalem that the United Nations, with the full complicity of Barack Obama and his administration, just declared to be Palestinian Arab territory.

It’s time for Congress and the President-elect to eliminate the loophole that has allowed presidents in both parties to ignore US law and delay our embassy’s rightful relocation to Jerusalem for over two decades.”
CRUZ: “Unfortunately, the Obama administration’s vendetta against the Jewish state has been so vicious that to even utter this simple truth—let alone the reality that Jerusalem is the appropriate venue for the American embassy in Israel—is shocking in some circles.”
Personally, I hope this legislation is enacted the first week of Mr. Trump’s administration.
If the Useless, Neutered, throroughly anti-Israel, anti-Semitic United Nations doesn’t like it? That’s just too bad.
And if the UN wants to do something about it, I suggest a quick move of the current headquarters. I hear Gaza City is just dying for it to come on over.
I don’t think this is necessary, iirc Congress has already approved of moving the embassy there. To me this looks like them trying to ride Mr. Trumps coattails.
