Rob Reiner, a talented actor and a talented movie director, has every right to voice his opinion – it’s a free country.
I do not dispute this, I applaud the fact that he is free to do so.
Now: will he just shut up? Because every time Rob Reiner opens that doctrinaire, hard-left drone mouth of his, something stupid comes out.
Here is the latest, from his appearance on Chris Matthews’ show last night:
“It doesn’t matter whether you are discriminating against a black person or a Muslim or a Latino, or a Jew. If you are comfortable with the fact that there are groups who hate Muslims, hate Jews, hate Latinos, hate women — if you are comfortable with having those groups support you, and you don’t in a forceful way, say, this is not part of who I am, then you are basically the Jewish police at the Warsaw Ghetto. You’re condoning it and I’ve never heard Donald Trump ever say that he was against any of those groups that are supporting it.”
Yep, OK Rob. Trump hates Blacks (whom he promised better schools, better jobs and safer streets), Muslims (not one negative word about Muslims legally in the United States), Latinos (ditto), and Jews (???????????? – I’m still waiting for the first explanation of that one).
Is Trump against Latinos coming into the country illegally? Yes. Is he against allowing Muslims to come here from countries with terrorist activity without significant vetting procedures in place? Yep. Now: tell us how that makes him anti-all Latinos and anti-all Muslims. I’ll wait…and the wait will be forever.
Mr. Reiner. Will you just shut up?
