MORE ANTI-TRUMP VIOLENCE

Will mainstream media ever report the fact that, every day, in multiple places around the country, people – often teenage children – are being brutally beaten for the “crime” of supporting Donald Trump?

Here is the latest example, excerpted from Rob Massimo’s article for WTOP radio – and, though I will stop here, if I wanted to I could spend every day writing this  blog about nothing else:

A student is facing assault charges after a student protest of the election of Donald Trump to the presidency turned violent Wednesday.

Hundreds of students from Richard Montgomery High School were carrying signs reading, “Love Trumps Hate,” and chanting near the Rockville courthouse on Maryland Avenue in a protest that began at about 10 a.m. when a 15-year-old boy wearing one of the Trump campaign’s “Make America Great Again” hats was attacked by about four students.

The group surrounded the teen, punching him repeatedly, then threw him to the ground and kicked him repeatedly in the ribs. It is not yet clear what led up to the incident, but Maj. Michael English with Rockville police said the victim was not the aggressor.

Here are a few questions that should – must be answered:

-What the HELL were hundreds of high school students doing marching in the street at 10:00AM?  Why were they not in class?

-Was this sanctioned by the school?

-If it was not, then are every one of these students going to be cited for truancy?

-If it was, then will charges be brought against the Principal and his/her associates for sanctioning schoolchildren to walk the streets instead of being in class learning?

-What if there were an accident?  What if a car, truck or bus plowed into these students and there were injuries, even fatalities?  Would the Principal and his people have been charged?

The “students” who beat this young man, I strongly, hope, will be charged with physical assault and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  They couldn’t deserve it more.

And if it turns out that the school sanctioned this imbecilic march, I strongly hope its Principal and whoever else was involved are charged as accessories.
