But, however improbably, both of them were making a ton of sense today when discussing the situation we are in with Russia.
I can\’t put up exactly what each man said (I\’ll look for a transcript at some point today or tomorrow), but North (on Fox and Friends), talking about the consequences of President Obama\’s anorexic military policy and Coons (on “Up” with Steve Kornacki), talking about how President Obama should strategize to isolate Putin diplomatically at the UN and with our allies, both were very much on target.
When transcripts are available so that I can put their specific commentaries up, I promise to do so.
And I hope President Obama takes the time to read them both. It will give him something to do while missing the next National Security meeting, like the one he missed yesterday.

UPDATE: It is now Monday morning, and I still can\’t find transcripts for either show.
But I did go on Steve Kornacki\’s facebook page to look for it…and found that something like 80% of the recent content is about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. I actually laughed out loud. Captain Ahab had nothing on Kornacki and the rest of his merry gang at (where else?) MSNBC.
The world is falling down around us and they are obsessed – literally, obsessed – with the possibility that Christie may have known that two lanes of the George Washington Bridge would be closed for four days. This starts at pathetic and spirals rapidly downward.
