I am always happy to give credit where it is due. And today I give credit to the Associated Press, for today’s article, written by Stephen Braun, which lays out, with unmistakable clarity, what a bunch of idiots Hillary Clinton and her people think voters are.
Read these excerpts and see for yourself:
Just five months before the presidential election, the State Department is under fire in courtrooms over its delays in turning over government files related to Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.
In one case, the agency warned it needed a 27-month delay, until October 2018, to turn over emails from Clinton’s former aides, and the judge in another case, a lawsuit by The Associated Press, wondered aloud whether the State Department might be deliberately delaying until after the election.
Secretary of State John Kerry and other officials have said they are committed to public transparency, vowing that the State Department will improve its practices under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.
But in three separate court hearings last week, officials acknowledged that their records searches were hobbled by errors and new delays and said they need far more time to produce Clinton records
Could this be any clearer? Could this be any more Clintonian?
It is a game Bill Clinton played over and over again…just like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown to kick. Now now it is Hillary Clinton’s turn to play the same game.
And just like Charlie Brown, all too many voters – people who would know better if it weren’t for their undeserved admiration for this accomplishmentless liar – fall for it every time.
The sequence is in place, no different than it has been in the past. Delay and obfuscate every way possible. Then, as the investigation lengthens in time and cost – because of the delays and obfuscations – scream bloody murder about how long the investigation is taking and how much it is costing the taxpayers…while claiming that, yet again, the Clintons are being victimized.
If that doesn’t qualify as treating voters like idiots, I don’t know what does.
And the scariest part? A good many voters are perfectly willing to be the Clintons’ idiots, every time they pull it.
One other thing: without major help from what passes for our mainstream media, Hillary and Bill Clinton could never get away with this, not even once.
That is why I give credit to the Associated Press – for doing nothing other than reporting the facts about this disgraceful strategy. Because, given the state of our media, reporting the facts about Hillary and Bill Clinton is infrequent enough to earn it.
What a sad state of affairs.
