Today’s quote comes to us from President Barack Obama, speaking about his Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland.
“Even Republicans compliment him and say he’s a great judge. In the past, he’s been confirmed unanimously by the Senate for the current positions he holds.”
Uh….. Judge Garland was confirmed all right, but by a vote of 76 to 23.
President Obama wins Quote Of The Day honors for again doing what he has such a great talent for: telling us things that are not true.
And before you remind me that anyone can make a mistake, let me remind you that Mr. Obama’s “mistakes” unfailingly promote his side of things.
When it’s half one way and half the other, they’re mistakes. When it’s 100% one way and 0% the other, they’re not. Got it?
