From an article from the Associated Press, and published by the Times of Israel:
TEHRAN, Iran — The deputy commander of Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guard said Iranian forces will close the strategic Strait of Hormuz to the United States and its allies if they “threaten” the Islamic Republic, Iranian state media reported on Wednesday.
In other words:
“You behave, little boy Barack, like the good lapdog you are, or we’ll screw you and your allies both –without any fear over what you might do about it.
“Oh, and thanks again (muffled laughter) for “negotiating” (louder muffled laughter) the end of those sanctions and the flow of funds back in to our treasury (loud belly laughs).”
My congratulations to Barack Obama and John Kerry, for putting together exactly the quality of a deal they are capable of.
No one can say you didn’t work to your levels of competency.
One other thing. I watched most of the first hour of the Today Show this morning. Unless I missed it, Today did not report so much as one word about this threat. Its web page certainly does not make any mention of it.
But I did see a feature on Channing Tatum giving his wife a pedicure.
Keep ’em ignorant and you own ’em.
I am thinking China denying us entry to the port of Hong Kong might have something to do with this.
