JUDGE CHUTKAN’S CONTRIBUTION TO OBAMA/BIDEN

She has made political donations to Obama’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012, and to Kirsten Gillibrand in 2008, a year before she was appointed as a New York senator, according to Federal Election Commission data.

The paragraph you just read is from  Who is Tanya Chutkan, the judge assigned to Trump’s election case?”.

That’s pretty important, isn’t it?  If I remember correctly, Joe Biden was Barack Obama’s Vice Presidential running mate at the time.  Therefore, by contributing to Obama Judge Chutkan contributed to Joe Biden as well.

So where was this paragraph – a paragraph that would strongly indicate bias on the part of Judge Chutkan – in the article?  Up at the top, right?  Featured prominently, right?

Uh…..nope.  This is paragraph #20.  The 20th paragraph  out of 26.  In other words, buried deep in the article so that NBC can say “yeah, we reported it” while insuring as few people as possible read it.

But wait.  There’s more.

Aside from the fact that it was buried within the article, the paragraph also doesn’t mention how much money Judge Chutkan contributed.  If, for example, the donation was, say, $50 or $100 you could argue it was nothing more than a friendly gesture to a favored candidate.

But it wasn’t.  Judge Chutkan contributed $4,300 to the Obama/Biden campaign.  That’s right, $4,300 – a tiny little factoid that, somehow, did not find its way into the NBC article.

Reality check:  this contribution should be cause for Judge Tanya Chutkan to recuse herself from this case.  Period.

But given the third-world treatment former President Trump is being afforded, that is not going to happen.  And the fact that it should happen is certainly not going to be reported by NBC, or most other so-called “neutral” media venues.

If this makes you sick to your stomach…then good.  It damn well should.
