Most of us are aware of NIMBY – the acronym for “Not In My Back Yard” – which refers to hypocrites who think undesirable entities (like jails, halfway houses, drug rehabilitation centers, etc.) are just fine….as long as they\’re in someone else\’s neighborhood.

Well now we have Cornell University, bastion of all that is liberal/left, showing us the meaning of NIMBP:  “Not In My Back Pocket”.

Studentsat the prestigious but liberal-leaning CornellUniversityfound that out the hard way last week, when they stormed the officeof school President DavidSkortonto protest a modern-day example of socialism at work.

OnFeb. 5, Skorton posted a memo on the school\’s website notifyingstudents that all who opt out of Cornell\’s health care program nextyear will be charged a $350 fee, FoxNews reported.

Obamacarerequires all students to have health insurance, but those alreadycovered are also forced to pay the opt-out fee. And they\’re nonetoo pleased.

About150 students protested the move by staging an old-fashioned sit-in atSkorton\’s office and a main administrative building on Monday,while others turned to 21st century hashtag activism on Twitter withthe #fightthefeerallying cry, according to TheCollege Fix student newspaper.

Poor babies….

Just how strong do you figure support for ObamaCare was at Cornell…..until these geniuses realized that they, too, would be forking out money for it?

FYI:  According to the article at Fox News, The School plan costs $2,352 a year per student….and the $350 fee for declining it will most likely not be covered by financial aid.

Did the ivied crowd at Cornell not realize that comes out of their pockets?  Or did they just figure they\’d send the bill to the Koch brothers?
