Yesterday I blogged about the attacks on Jeb Bush in the Washington Post (for something he may or may not have done at the age of 14) and on Scott Walker in the New York Times, for the crime of leaving college before getting a degree.
Today it is Bush\’s turn again.
The New York Times\’ big story, splashed across the middle of page 1?
Dynasty\’s Son
Jeb Bush Used Connections Freely When Father Was in Washington
As you might expect, the article, by Steve Eder and Michael Barbaro, goes on to detail how a young Jeb Bush used his familial connections to get places.
Ok, fair enough. If it happened, it happened.
And, of course, next week, The Times\’ Mr. Eder and Mr. Barbaro will have a first page story about how Hillary Clinton became a partner at the Rose Law Firm when Hubby Bill became the Attorney General of Arkansas, then became a Senior Partner when he became Governor, and then headed the Arkansas Education Task Force when she was appointed by Hubby Bill while still Governor, and then as the head of the Health Care Task Force when she was appointed by Hubby Bill while he was President.
I\’d say I can\’t wait to read that article….but I won\’t, since I have a feeling the wait is going to be…how do you say it?….oh yeah…..endless.
And I won\’t be waiting for it to show up in the Washington Post either. Or the LA Times. Or the networks.
Anyone who thinks media in this country are not partisan has a screw loose.
