As our veterans wait unconscionably long wait times for medical attention – sometimes resulting in their deaths…
…these words – this exact quote – came from the mouth of Veterans Affairs Secretary bob mcdonald today:
“The days to an appointment is really not what we should be measuring. What we should be measuring is the veteran’s satisfaction.
“When you go to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? What’s important is what’s your satisfaction with the experience.”
This “man” should be fired immediately. I mean today. Now.
It is bad enough that the VA hospitals are a disaster on steroids, and bad enough that the Obama administration has done absolutely nothing to change this horror show (with an assist from mainstream media, which have looked the other way for years). But to have the man IN CHARGE of Veterans Affairs compare what our military heroes are being forced to endure with waiting on line for an effing amusement park ride?
Give this moron enough time to get the personal belongings from his desk – provided he does so quickly – and send him packing.
Maybe Disney can give him a job in line management. If he can handle it.
