Did you know that a “March For Impeachment” rally was called for yesterday, at noon, in Washington D.C., on the Capitol lawn below the steps?
Well, if you did, you decided not to show up.
I know this because, according to Penny Starr’s article at breitbart.com, no one showed up. And that would have to include you.
It is true that Ms. Starr might be lying or mistaken. And the picture posted with her article might have been taken at another time. But, since the march organizers would easily be able to counter such phoniness with a visual record of who actually showed up, I highly doubt this is the case.
Heck, even Jerrold Nadler, “Mr. Impeachment (because it gives me something to do during the day instead of legislating)” wasn’t there.
What does it take to make these people realize that, other than the usual leftist suspects, very few people are on board with impeachment? That it makes them look silly and vindictive? That most of us want presidencies to begin and end with an election, not a hissy fit because a two year investigation didn’t produce anything impeachable? That it is a voter turn-off, not turn-on?
If I were a Republican, I’d be hoping they keep this up right until election day.
