Michelle Obama was sent out to Iowa last night, where she made a campaign speech extolling the military career of Democrat Senate candidate Bruce Bailey.
Except the candidate\’s name is Bruce Braley…and he never served in the military.
If Ms. Obama had said “Bailey” once, we could chalk it up to inadvertent error. We all make them.
But the 7th time she called him “Bailey” even the supportive crowd couldn\’t take it anymore and some of them screamed out his real name.
I don\’t know if there were any military veterans there to correct her on his nonexistent service record as well. But I do know that if Ms. Obama was there to help the Braley campaign, it probably didn\’t work out well.
On the other hand, if someone named Bailey is running as an independent, he owes her big-time.
