TRUMP PREVAILS, HALEY IS OUT, BIDEN WINS OVER NO ONE

What little was left of Nikki Haley’s presidential run is now over.

Last night, Ms. Haley won the Vermont Republican primary…but lost every other one.  It is now being reported that she will announce the suspension of her campaign.

As for Donald Trump, who – subject to the effect of his many legal battles – is the unchallenged Republican presidential candidate?

Democrats have gotten exactly what they wanted.  A beyond-controversial, bloviating egomaniac who will spend much of the election campaign defending himself in four different legal proceedings, which would enable Biden – who, effectively, is running unopposed –  to campaign, thus expose his cognitive state, as little as possible.

Given Biden’s severely diminished cognition, Democrats probably see this as hitting for the daily double.

But is that the way of things?

How will the voting public react to this?  How will it react to the martyrdom Democrats have conferred on Trump?  How will they react when Trump, or his surrogates, remind them of the 1.4% inflation rate and relatively secure southern border he left Biden/what has becme of them since? How will they react when Trump reminds them of what they now pay for everyday items at the supermarket?  The cost of a new or used car?

Will this become a classic case of “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it”?

See me in November and we’ll talk.
